Canvas Prints

Giclee is an invented name for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing.

Our giclee prints are made in exactly the same way.

We print our canvas art at very high resolution on superb quality matte canvas of roughly 300gsm.

We use a huge A1 HP Printer which can print up to 24" wide and anywhere up to 15m long.

When your canvas print has been printed, we then cover it in clear acrylic lacquer which protects the print from everything including dirt, grease, dust, fingerprints and also helps with the light fastness.

This ensures that the print is kept brand new and the colours remain vibrant for a long time.

Gallery Wrapping

The frame is made and the image has been printed and coated with protective acrylic. What next?

Well, the perfectly sized frame is chosen and checked.

We then gallery wrap your image around the 'box' frame and staple the edges ensuring a tight fit.

This is a very skilled process and we are very experienced and confident doing this.

The canvas is then ready to send so we cover it in bubble wrap and then brown paper.

The edges are protected by corner plates and they are sent as soon as they are ready.

All you have to do is find a place for it and hang...

Custom Frames

Bespoke designed frames using 100% pine.

Custom made to measure for each new order.

1clickprints use British made Pine frames 18mm deep which are made to measure by ourselves.

We pride ourselves on this as we do not rely on anyone else to make them and we know exactly where the wood comes from and how they are being made.

We cut the frames to exact customer specifications ensuring a perfect fit. We then use Crompton corner plates to fix the frame together, ensuring a sturdy but flexible structure vital for canvas longevity.

For larger pieces we also use extra corner hinges to give the frame extra strength. They are then sanded down to avoid any canvas ripping.

We make all of our own frames and pride ourselves on this fact as you won't find this in many other companies.
